If someone seeks to be appointed as your guardian or conservator and you do not agree, you have the right to be represented by an attorney and to object. We are happy to represent people in these circumstances.

Once a guardian or conservator is appointed they have many and continuing duties to the court. Our attorneys will be happy to assist and represent you in complying with your duties to timely file an inventory, to maintain proper records for the conservatorship or guardianship, to faithfully discharge your duties as a conservator and/or guardian, and to account to the court as required by law regarding your performance of your duties as guardian and conservator
